20120805 Blur Concert in Wolverhampton Civic Hall, UK

It was Blur's 2nd city in UK tour in 2012.
I just heard the city's name because of Korea soccer player Seol Kihyun.
He was in the Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
I didn't imagine I visit this city.
When I arrived the arena, some people waited for the concert and I gave up to catch a fence and looked around the city.
영국투어의 두번째 도시 울버햄튼...
여긴 설기현 선수가 잠깐 뛰었던 팀 때문에 도시 이름만 들어본 정도였다
내가 이 도시를 방문 할 줄은...
도착했을때 팬들이 기다리고 있었는데 사실 펜스는 걍 포기하고 도시나 좀 돌아봐야지 생각했다

When I walked around...
There were no people on a way...!
Even it is the small city, it was on the weekend!
Where is the people? Does they just go to the soccer stadium or the concert hall?
It looks like zombie city.
I was little scared.
It is really different from Korea city.
근데 막상 돌아다녀 보니...
길에 사람이 없다...!
아무리 작은 도시라지만 일요일...휴일인데...
도대체 사람들은 다 어디 있는거지? 다 축구장이나 공연장만 가고 딴데는 안가는건가...
좀비도시도 아니고 ㅠㅠ
살짝 무서웠다...

When I passed by here, the building is beautiful so I took a photo.
지나가다 예뻐서 찍은 성당 건물...

Wolverhampton Civic Hall's scale is similar to Korea's Olympic Hall.
울버햄튼 시빅 홀은 올림픽홀 정도 규모였다

When the start time closed, I went to the concert hall. I think the foreign people doesn't mind about catching the fence.
They were not angry about the entrance order. Whole doors were opened at the same time and the waiting order was of no use.
I was so lucky and I caught the fence.
There were a spare space, some people make a space for some Japanese girl.
I saw that European people in the Hyde park concert.
공연 입장 시간 다 되서 갔는데 여긴 다들 펜스에 별로 신경을 안쓰나 보다
누가 먼저 왔는지 그런거 예민하게 생각도 안하고 입구가 한꺼번에 열려서 사람들이 줄 상관 없이 한꺼번에 들어가졌다
그래서 운 좋게도 펜스를 잡았다
자리가 여유 있으니 나중에 온 일본분한테 자리도 양보하더라
자리 양보한 유럽에서 온 외국 분들은 하이드파크 공연에서도 지나가다 봄 ㅎㅎㅎ;;;

I talked with that Japanese girl.
She got UK visa and lived and worked in London.
She is really crazy about Blur.
Before Blur's tour, Damon attended some Opera festival for reading a book or a poem in a small country.
That festival was held in a very small country so there were no public transformation to get there.
She drove her own car to see Damon.
Maybe there were Dave or Graham. I can't remember exactly.
She booked the hotel because of this Wolverhampton concert.
If I don't mind, she allowed to stay together.
It was so thankful, however I already booked the bus ticket to London.
I was sorry about that, after the concert, I said good-bye to her and I went to the bus station.
이날은 그 일본 팬 분과 여러 얘기를 나눴다
이 분은 워킹으로 영국에서 살면서 비자를 받아 영국에서 일한다고 했는데
정말 골수 팬이었다
투어 전 데이먼이 진짜 깡촌 산골에서 하는 오페라 페스티벌에 책을 읽었나 시 낭독을 했나...
거기가는 차편이 없어서 차를 몰고 보러 갔다고 한다
거기 데이브였나 그레엄 왔었다고 했었나...확실히 기억이 안남
그리고 데이먼과 리암이 어느 동네에 사니 뭐 그런거까지 귀뜸해줌 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
근데 동네 알아도 집도 모르고..가서 뭐 하겠어 ㅡㅡ ㅋ
그 분은 이 울버햄튼 공연때문에 호텔을 이박 다 잡았다고 했다
나한테 괜찮다면 묵어도 상관 없다고까지 했는데
이날 역시 런던 가는 티켓을 다 예약해 놨고 다음날 수업이 있는지라 ㅠㅠ
아쉬움을 뒤로하고 공연 후 이 분과 작별인사 하고 버스를 타러 갈 수 밖에 없었다

When the concert began, Damon throw the water to my area and I was struck by the water.
I didn't know my face looks serious.
(My hair is curly so I am sensitive about the water. T_T)
The Japanese fan worried about me.
I am not sure Damon saw me.
Anyway, after that, Damon never come to my area. hahahahahaha.................
공연 시작 후 데이먼이 물을 막 뿌렸는데 내쪽에 아주 지대로 몇번 뿌려서
나도 모르게 정색을 했나 보다
(머리가 너무 심한 곱슬이라 물 맞으면 나도 모르게 예민해짐 ㅠㅠ)
일본 분이 괜찮냐고 계속 걱정해 줬다
근데 데이먼이 그걸 본건지 그 후 다시는 내쪽으로 안왔다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

The Opening Band was The Bots.
이날 오프닝도 The Bots 였음 ㅎㅎㅎ

After the concert, it is the way of get to the bus station.

There were no people and I was scared.

공연 끝나고 버스 타러 가는 길...

아무도 없고 좀 무서웠다 ㅠㅠ

In UK, there were bus transfer station.

I transferred the bus in the Birmingham. I am not sure where it was...

I took a bus all night and I went to English school early morning.

영국은 버스도 환승이 있더라

중간에 버밍엄이었나 어디였나 암튼 거기서 환승하면서 찍은 사진

이렇게 밤새 버스를 타고 아침에 런던 도착해서 바로 어학원으로 등교 ㅠㅠ

The fan goes to Old Trafford who likes Chicharito.
올드트래포트로 향하는 치차리토 팬으로 추정되는 분 ㅎㅎㅎ

Because of Olympic game, I can't enter ManUtd Shop.
이날 올림픽 경기로 인해 샵은 출입금지였음

I can buy London Olympic ticket in Korea. It was before few years ago.
At that time, we don't know which soccer team go to Olympic.
I just want to go to Old Trafford, so I reserved this ticket.
When I arrived London, I knew Japan:Egypt match had hold in Old Trafford.
Maybe Korea:UK was in Cardiff. My friend went there to collect the news.
Japanese friends envy me and they cheered their country.
런던 올림픽 표 구매는 몇년전부터 할 수 있었다
8강 대진표는 커녕 본선 진출국 정해지지도 않았던 때에 한국에서 그냥 올드트래포트에서 하는 아무 경기나 신청했다
런던에 오고 나서 올드트래포트에서는 일본:이집트 경기를 한다는 것을 알았다......................ㅎㅎㅎ...
주변의 일본인들은 나를 부러워 했고 가서 일본 응원 잘 해 달라고 했었다...ㅎㅎㅎ...
한국:영국 8강 경기는 아마 카디프에서 했었을거다...친구는 거기 취재 가고 난 맨체스터를 향해 기차를 탔다...

At that time, Park Jisung moved to QPR and Dortmunt's Kagawa came to ManUtd. Old Trafford was full of Kagawa.
Japanese looks very happy.
Kagawa can't attend to Olympic team because of Sir.Ferguson's order.
이 때 하필 박지성은 QPR 이적하고 도르트문트의 카가와신지가 맨유 이적 직후일때라 올드트래포트 주위는 카가와신지로 도배되어 있었다
일본인들은 매우 즐거워 보였다...
카가와신지는 퍼거슨 감독이 모든 선수들 올림픽 출전 금지 명령에 의해 올림픽에서는 볼 수 없었다...

Because of so many people and checking the bag, I just watched the 2nd half.
사람은 많은데 짐검사 및 몸수색이 너무 늦어져서 난 후반만 보게 되었다;;;

It was far to take a photo, so the photo is fainted.
Anyway, it is Old Trafford's menu.
멀어서 잘 안보이지만 올드트래포트 음식과 술 가격...;;;

2012 Jisan Valley Rock Festival - LeeSsang 지산밸리락페스티벌의 리쌍

It was maybe James Iha's stage.
In the stand area, there were LeeSsang(Korean Hiphop group) members.
Suddenly many people came to them and started to take a photo with them.
In the end they moved to the sub stage.
제임스이하 공연때였나
관객석에 리쌍 두 멤버가 앉아 공연을 즐기고 있었다
갑자기 많은 사람들이 몰려와서 너도나도 자기 블로그 페북 인스타에 올릴 인증샷을 찍어댔다
결국 둘은 서브스테이지로 자리를 옮기더라...

Because of the stupid SNS and selfie-generations, the Korean annoys many celebrities.
그놈의 SNS가 뭐길래 공연도 못보도록 방해를 하는지...

20120801 Blur Concert in Margate Winger Garden, UK

Before Blur's 2012 concert in Hyde park, Blur went tour in UK's small cities, Denmark and Sweden.
I was in UK in 2012 so I went Blur's UK tour. I didn't intend for go to all of tour.
The first city was Margate.
I look around margate for the first time because of Blur. Thanks Blur!
2012년 하이드파크 공연전 블러는 영국 소도시 몇개와 덴마크, 스웨덴의 페스티벌에서 공연을 했다

이때 런던에 있을때라 의도치 않게 블러의 영국 투어를 다 따라다녔다

그 첫번째 도시는 Margate

블러 덕분에 새로운 도시를 잠깐 구경 할 수 있었다

Margate is small beach city.
The bus arreved early so I have a time to walk around the city.
When I get off the bus, I can see the beach.
There are small houses and shops beside the beach way.
Margate is small so I can walk around all of the city.
If I have a time, I want to go there again and take a rest.
Margate는 작은 해변도시였다
버스가 일찍 도착해서 잠깐동안 도시 이리저리 구경 할 수 있었는데
내리자마다 바다가 보였다
해변을 따라 여러 작은 가게들과 집이 있었다
도시가 너무 작아서 걸어서 다 구경 할 수 있을 정도였다
언제 다시 시간 내서 조용히 쉬다 가도 좋을 도시였다

During waiting the concert, I met some girls from near the Margate. I forgot the city's name.
When I went to Blur's all tour, every Blur fan who meet in the concert was very kind to me.
We didn't met before, however they suggest to stay their house if I don't have any place to stay. Maybe it is new to them that Asian girl watch Blur's concert.
Unfortunately I reserved the train which go to London. I felt sorry about that.
She never imagined Blur can come to Margate because Margate is small city.
She asked me "Are there many Blur fans in Korea?"
I can't say "Yes" because Korea music market is so small and Blur take a rest for a long time so these days only some people really love Blur.
She thinks me very amazing because Korea girl came to Margate to see Blur.
When the concert started, many people pushes behind me so I feel little tired.
She asks "Are you OK?" many times.
I really appreciate for her kindness.
이날 근교 다른 도시에서 블러를 보기 위해 왔다는 영국의 한 여자분과 얘기를 나눴다
이때 블러 투어때 느낀거지만 현장에서 만난 블러 팬들은 다 너무 친절했다
다들 처음 본 사람인데도 불구하고 동양 여자가 혼자 블러 보러 온게 너무 신기했던건지 반가웠던건지 숙소가 마땅치 않으면 자고 가도 괜찮다고 흔쾌히 제안했다
안타깝게도 난 너무 철저하게 런던 가는 차편을 예약한지라...아쉬웠다
이날 만난 영국 블러 팬 분도 이런 작은 도시에 블러가 올 줄 상상도 못했다고 했다
한국에 블러 팬이 많냐고 물었을때 난 많다고는 대답 못했다
알다시피 블러가 활동을 좀 오래 쉬기도 했고...한국 음악 시장은 그렇게 크지 않아서...
이렇게 얘기 했던거 같음...
그 영국 팬 분은 이렇게 여기까지 블러를 보러 온 나를 상당히 신기해 했다
공연 시작하고 많은 사람들이 밀어 부쳐서 힘든 상황이 되니 계속 나에게 괜찮냐고 물어봤었다...
친절한 블러 팬분이었다

Margate Winter Garden's scale is like Korea's Ax-hall size.
It is very small concert hall in UK.
When Blur had a concert in Hyde park, they always gather many thousand of people.
It takes only few seconds to sold out the ticket from Margate concert.
I never imagined I can see Blur in small concert hall from UK.
It was very surprised that people can buy a beer in the concert.
In Korea, drinking beer is prohibited in the concert except the festival.
Margate Winter Garden은 한국으로 치면 Ax-hall 정도의 크기였다
영국에선 정말 작은 규모의 공연장인거다
블러가 하이드 파크에서 몇만명을 모으는 밴드이니...
여기 공연장 표가 몇초만에 매진 될 만도 하지...
이런 아담한 공연장에서 블러를 볼 수도 있구나 싶었다
신기한건 페스티벌이 아닌 공연장에서도 자유롭게 맥주를 사서 안에서 먹을 수 있었다
한국에서는 페스티벌 외에는 거의 금지인 분위기인데...

In the ticket, the concert will started on 7:30. I didn't know there are opening band in the concert.
The opening band is 'The Bots'. They are very young guys.
And Blur appeared almost 9:30 pm!
I thought Blur will appeared on 7:30, however it wasn't.
I reserved the train before the end of the concert, I can't see whole of concert.
공연 시작이 7:30분이었나 8:00였나 그렇게 표에 표기 되었던거 같았는데 오프닝 밴드가 있는줄을 몰랐다
The bots라는 어린 친구들 둘이 연주하는 밴드였다
그리고 블러는 9:30분즈음 등장했다...!
난 정시에 블러가 나올줄 알아서 런던으로 돌아가는 차편을 아주 일찍 예약했는데 ㅜㅜ
그래서 이 날 블러 공연을 다 못보고 기차를 타야만 했다

It tooks a long time for that concert, so I can't express the feeling at the momont of Margate concert.
When Blur came to Margate concert, I felt like...I can't breathe.
I never imagined I can see Blur.
Actually, I stayed 2 month in 2012 because of studying English. It was my real purpose for staying in London.
Suddenly blur announced their UK tour so I reserved all of the ticket.
I live in Seoul, Korea, which is very far from UK. So I always see Blur's DVD or youtube video like Glastonbury or Hyde park concert.
It was the first time to see Blur directly. I was deeply moved.
시간이 너무 많이 지나서 이때의 기분을 글로 다 표현 못할 거 같지만
블러가 등장하는 순간 숨 멎는줄 알았다
내가 블러를 직접 볼 수 있을거라고 상상이나 했을까
사실 2달간 영국에 머무르는 것도 그냥 영어 공부를 하며 공연을 보겠다는 막연한 생각이었는데
갑자기 올림픽 기간에 맞춰 블러가 영국 투어를 돌길래 나중에서야 모든 표를 다 예약 했던거다
영국과는 너무나 먼 한국에서 살기 때문에 글라스톤배리나 하이드파크 공연을 영상으로 보며 현장에 못간 아쉬움을 달랬는데
이렇게 블러를 직접 처음 볼 수 있어서...감동이 벅차 올랐었다

Maybe lots of fans already saw Trimm Trabb video on youtube.
Graham looks very angry and Damon try to calm down the situation.
I have to leave the concert when Trimm Trabb started because of the train.
이날 직캠 보면 알겠지만 Trim Trabb 연주 하면서 앰프가 나가는 사고가 발생했다
그레엄은 화 내고 다들 진정시키고...뭐 그런 상황이었던거 같았다
난 Trim Trabb 나올때 자리를 떠야 했었다 ㅜㅜ

When I leave the Margate, the night view was very beautiful.
Because of Blur, I know very beautiful place.
나올때 밤바다를 보는데...너무 예쁜 풍경이었다
블러 덕분에 너무 아름다운 도시를 알게 되었다

I arrived London very late and I took a night bus. I arrived very late night on Homestay house.
I only sleep few hours, and I went to the English school.
It was very tired.
밤늦게 런던에 도착하고 나이트버스를 타고 새벽 다 되서 홈스테이 집에 도착했다...
그리고 몇시간 못자고 바로 학원으로 등교 ㅜㅜ
